Furthermore, it is not necessary that all four devices should be smartphones, it could be PCs, tablets, or any other devices.

If you are still wondering how can you use a single account on 4 different devices without an active internet connection on the primary device, follow this step-by-step procedure:

1. Make sure that you have the latest version of WhatsApp installed from the Google Play Store or the App Store.

2. Open the application on the secondary device, click agree and continue at the bottom. After this, you will have to enter the phone number and country code (+91). Go to the three dots present at the top right of the screen and choose to link a new device.

3. The screen would now display a large barcode with the WhatsApp logo on it. Open WhatsApp on your primary phone, go to the three dots, click on the linked devices, and then add a new device. Scan the barcode that appears on the secondary device's display.

4. Now you can access the same account with all the messages and media files on the companion mode on the companion device as well. However, it can take up to a few minutes to load.

You can even remove the added devices just by going to the three dots, linked devices, and tap on the logout option and it will directly remove the specific device from the list.
