Whatsapp, which is known for the constant rolling out of features, is now planning to introduce a slew of features to enhance the user experience and make tasks simpler. According to WaBetaInfo, a popular WhatsApp news and feature reporting website, the company plans to introduce these new features.
1. Secret Code for Locked Chats (Android Exclusive):
The addition of a secret code for encrypted chats in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.24.20 update is one of the most important features. By hiding private chats from view on the main chat list, this creative feature enables users to improve their privacy. Some beta testers can now access this function, but others might have to wait patiently for its general release.
2. View Count for Channel Updates (In Development):
WhatsApp is actively developing a feature that will allow users to check the number of times a channel update has been viewed. This feature, which was discovered in the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.24.15 update, is presently being developed and should appear in a later version of the program.
3. Message Search by Date (Coming Soon to Android):
A useful update for WhatsApp Web is being developed that will enable certain beta testers to find messages by choosing a particular date. This feature, which promises a more efficient message retrieval experience, is still being developed for the Android app, yet it has been put out for WhatsApp Web.
4. Sticker Sharing in Channels (Android Exclusive):
Channel administrators can now share stickers within their channels after installing the WhatsApp beta for Android 2.23.24.19.
5. Username Selection for Channels (Under Development):
One of the future features of WhatsApp for Android 2.23.24.17 beta is the ability for channel owners to select a username for their channels. While it's still in development, this feature should give channel creators more options for branding and personalization.
6. Enhanced Text Formatting Tools for Web Clients:
WhatsApp does not overlook its users of the online clients. With the most recent beta release, users now have more control and flexibility when interacting via the web client thanks to new text formatting capabilities for messages.
