WhatsApp, which has been working on a series of new features, has now added a highly anticipated feature that allows users to create unnamed groups. Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, has announced that the feature has already started rolling out and will be available to the public in the upcoming weeks.

The new feature allows users to form groups on WhatsApp without giving the group a name. Zuckerberg stated, "You're welcome to embed his post within your piece." According to the company, the new feature sets events in which users need to quickly create a group or when a group topic has not been determined.

An automated naming mechanism will be used in groups of up to 6 people. The name of the group will change depending on who is involved. Depending on the contacts that they have saved on their phones, each member will recognise a different group name. When a person joins a group, and no one in the group has stored their contact information, their phone number will appear in the group name.

In addition, the Meta-owned messaging network is introducing a video message option for iOS users. This feature allows users to record and transmit video messages within chats in real-time. During a chat, a single tap on the microphone icon switches to video recording mode.

A "screen share" button will now be visible to users starting video calls, allowing them to share their displays with other callers. As stated by the corporation, these features are anticipated to trickle out gradually over the next few weeks.
