WhatsApp, a Meta-owned instant messaging application, tests new features in its beta channel. Soon after the trials and depending on the feedback from beta users, the company releases them to the stable version. In the latest move to improve the experience on Windows, the company is testing a 'sticker creation converter tool' that is now rolling out to select testers in the beta channel, according to WABetaInfo.

According to the report, the feature is rolling out in the 'Windows 2.2403.3.0' update, and some users can experiment with it even in the stable build of the app. We were able to access the feature in the stable Windows version of the app. The ones who have not received the update can wait for the rollout to complete. For the unaware, the company regularly adds new features via updates on the app, which can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store.

Based on the screengrab shared in the report, a new '+' icon in the 'Stickers' tab will likely be available to let users convert pictures to stickers. According to the WhatsApp tracker, users may also be able to perform basic edits on the photos, such as crop, rotate, scribble or highlight using various tools. It was earlier available in the Electron version of WhatsApp Desktop.
