After Elon Musk announced his intentions to retire the bluebird from X (formerly called Twitter), the platform has undergone several changes from design to texts. Among the prominent ones include the logo change on the web a few hours after the announcement and the rebranding of all official social handles by omitting 'Twitter' from the name. And in the latest update, users noticed that the 'Tweet' button is getting rebranded to 'Post', and the logo change on smartphone apps on Android and iOS is now live.
According to an X user (Evelyn Janeidy Arevalo), the "send 'Tweet' button now says 'Post' on browser." However, it seems it was a short-lived modification, and in our case, the button still says 'Tweet'. Another user (UX) added that 'Post' was switched back to 'Tweet' after an hour of the change. Considering Musk's track record, this might become permanent in the future. @xDaily also iterated that the 'retweets' options next to 'likes' in a tweet may change to 'Repost' soon.

On smartphones, the new logo has debuted on Android and iOS. X now appears on the app icon and the logo at the top. However, there are traces of 'Tweets' across the posting button and the tabs on a user profile. This may be polished in upcoming updates. The 'Twitter Blue' plan now reads 'X Blue'.
For context, the old logo was snapped away from the official headquarters of the platform. With the move and sweeping changes, the company aims to transform AI-powered X into a super app that can help users in all cases, from banking to social media. In another update, Elon Musk said the company touched new heights with over 540 million users.
As for more updates, X is testing the "Delegates" feature that would allow approved participants to operate other users' accounts.
