Elon Musk X, formerly called Twitter, has a bunch of premium features for its paid subscribers. One such feature is the 'Highlights' tab for X accounts. This exclusive tab on the profiles of paid subscribers allows them to highlight some of their posts in a separate section other than the post timeline. Besides serving as a tab for showcasing your best posts on X, it can be used to get 'greater reach', X owner Elon Musk has shared. But there is a slight twist.
According to a post from the Tesla CEO on X, while posts in the 'Highlights' tab will enjoy a greater reach, they might have "no effect" if misused or abused. He added that the tab is to showcase your important posts and is helpful to boost replies.
"Posts on X that are added to your highlights tab will get greater reach," Musk said. "Unless you abuse the feature, in which case it will have no effect. Please use Highlights as intended to show your most important content. This tab is especially helpful for promoting replies," he added.
