X, formerly called Twitter, has been in the news for adding new features for its premium class of users. Amid the expectations of the video and audio calling functionality, leaks hint that the microblogging firm might introduce a long-form writing feature with no character limit, according to an @xDaily post on X (now deleted). Secondly, an X account also leaked a preview of the upcoming X video and audio calls UI.
Here are the details about these features:
X Leaks: Article Writing Feature May Debut Soon
According to X News Daily's post, the platform may soon bring an 'Article writing feature' similar to editor Sub-stack. A source confirmed the update to X News Daily, as per a now taken down X post. The account added the "articles will be fully shareable," and the experience will likely be better than the current viewing of long-form content.

X News Daily said the enhancements were in the pipeline for several months. However, the code is one of the reasons why the feature is taking time to release. It may allow posts without any word limit as the account stated: "there will be no character limit." Currently, the limit for X Premium writers stands at 25,000 characters and four inline images.
X Video and Audio Calls Preview
X account @swak_12 leaked the early preview of X video and audio calling UI. Based on the video, we can infer that the option may be available within the DMs tab at the top of the phone icon. From the chat view, users can either audio or video call the receiver. In the audio call, the UI will likely offer three options - speaker, mute and hang-up.

The account also added that X is working on a 'Similar posts' feature. X owner Elon Musk said the feature will be AI-powered and display similar posts to the original one. On a related note, reports in the past hinted that the audio and video calling option on X may be limited to Premium users. You can read more on this here.
