Elon Musk's X (formerly called Twitter) continues to grab publicity for testing a wide range of features. Lately, the company is focusing towards enhancing the user experience for videos on the app. In the latest move in this endeavour, X will now ease the process of streaming videos live for users. Andrea Conway shared a glimpse into the new UI tweak.

In the new UI shared by the X designer, a new live icon is visible between the post button and the Spaces icon after a long press on the plus icon on an iPhone. However, the update might not be available in all models. We could not find the new changed icon either on Android or iOS-powered devices. However, considering it comes from a staff from X, we can expect a wider release soon.

Reacting to a user who complained about the possibility of tapping the icon accidentally, Conway added that a second screen would pop up where a user would have to tap the "go live" button to start streaming. From the comments in the post, it is evident that the feature might be available for some users.

On a related note, the designer also revealed that the option to upload videos in resolutions such as 240p, 480p, 720p and 1080p would arrive soon. In response to this update, Elon Musk said that 4K will be available in a month or two. He added, "The lower resolution choices are for those uploading time-sensitive video via a slow or expensive Internet connection."
