Elon Musk's X, formerly called Twitter, continues to add new features for users at lightning speed. After speculations around the introduction of audio and video calls for users, the microblogging firm is now testing two new enhancements before implementing them for all users. The first one includes the option to limit comments during live streams.
The second update is around the upcoming "similar posts" feature. An X-affiliated account shared a video of the feature in action. X owner Elon Musk replied to the post and added this is their "biggest application of AI." As the name suggests, the option will populate the "see similar post" feed with posts having similarities with the source content.
"This is our biggest application of AI so far. Much more to come," Musk stated in a post on X. In a push to make the platform an "all-in-one" app, we can expect more AI-based enhancements in the future from the social media site.

X Video Livestream Update
In a recent update, X News Daily (@xDaily) posted a screenshot of a new option to limit comments for livestreams. The feature is live in the beta Android build of X. Users can restrict comments via four options: verified accounts only, subscribers, accounts they follow and nobody.
As the name suggests, the "nobody" option will completely limit the functionality to comment in a live stream. Besides these four, there is a fifth option to allow comments from "everyone" watching them live. Other than this, a new "Go Live" button is visible once a user taps on the floating action button. The enhancement was also discovered on iOS recently.
NEWS: You can now restrict commenting on Livestreams to:

Moreover, the account added that subscriber badges are now live on iOS. "Badges will show up when a subscriber sends a message again on iOS," @xDaily posted. On a related note, X is also considering vertical video ads on the platform to compete with Tiktok and Reels. You can read more on this here.
