Xiaomi 13 Ultra Goes Global With In-display Heart Rate Monitoring Feature; Check Features, Price

JE Technology Desk: Xiaomi has launched its latest flagship Xiaomi 13 Ultra in the European markets. The flagship sports a 3D-curved screen, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, 1-inch primary camera lens, among other top-notch features. As the phone is already touring the world after launching in China a few weeks back, we can expect the phone to launch in India in the coming months.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra Specifications

The phone has a 3D curved 6.73-inch WQHD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and a whopping peak brightness of 2600 nits. It can produce up to 68 billion colours and is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Moreover, it has an in-display heart rate monitoring, but the company warns its use as a replacement for medical help.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra boasts a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip with 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It runs on Android 13 on top of MIUI 14. It has a 5000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The IP68-certified phone is equipped with Leica 50MP 1-inch IMX989 primary lens, 50MP ultra-wide, 50MP telephoto and 50MP super-telephoto sensor.

It comes with HyperOIS, variable aperture, 8K video recording and more powerful features. On the front, it has a 32 MP selfie camera. As for connectivity, it sports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, USB Type-C port and more. For security, it sports an under-screen fingerprint reader. For a premium haptic experience, it sports an X-axis linear motor.

The smartphone is priced at 1,499 Euros which translates to Rs 1.3 lakh for the 12GB + 512GB model. Going by this price, the phone is even pricier than the premium Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra. It is listed in two colour options: Black and Olive Green.
