Xiaomi HyperOS, Xiaomi 14 Series Launched in China: Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi has announced the launch of the Xiaomi 14 series in its homeland. The devices comes as a successor to the Xiaomi 13 flagships. They sport a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Both offerings run on the new Xiaomi HyperOS operating system.

Xiaomi 14 Specifications
The phone sports a 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED 12-bit 120Hz screen with a peak brightness of up to 3,000nits. Under the hood, the device sports a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. It runs on the new Xiaomi HyperOS operating system. Xiaomi 14 gets a 4,610mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.

As for the optics, the smartphone gets a 50MP OIS + 50MP UW + 50MP telephoto lens on the back. On the front, it sports a 32MP front sensor. As for connectivity, the device gets Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port.
Xiaomi 14 Pro Specifications
The bigger sibling gets a 6.73-inch 2K AMOLED 120Hz 12-bit screen with a peak brightness of up to 3,000nits. It sports a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The device also runs on Xiaomi HyperOS. Both phones offer up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro gets a 4,880mAh battery with 120W wired and 50W wireless charging. For photography, the handset gets a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide and 50MP telephoto lens on the rear and a 32MP front sensor. As for connectivity, the handset sports Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB-C 3.2 Gen2 port. The phones offer an in-display fingerprint reader.
Xiaomi 14 Series China Price
Xiaomi 14 starts from 3,999 yuan (around Rs 45,800) and is available in Black, White, Green and Pink. Its bigger cousin, Xiaomi 14 Pro, has a starting price of 4,999 yuan (roughly Rs 56,800) and is available in Black, White and Green colours. The Titanium special edition steeps up to 6,499 yuan (approximately Rs 74,000).
