Xiaomi 15 Series Launched in India: Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra have finally made their appearance in India, and this time there are some major upgrades to the camera, display, performance and design. Successors to the Xiaomi 14 series, these new devices bring bigger batteries and significant enhancements that also encompass AI. Let's take a look at them one by one.
Specs Xiaomi 15
This device sports a 6.36-inch 1.5K OLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate support and offers a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. It also has HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The powerhouse under the hood is Snapdragon 8Elite SoC and comes with a 5,240 mAh battery that can support up to 90W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. The system will run on HyperOS 2.0. For dust and water resistance the device has an IP68 rating. It also has an inbuilt fingerprint sensor, NFC and Dolby Atmos featuring stereo speakers.

The smartphone is embedded with a 50MP primary shooter, a 50-MP ultrawide lens and a 50-MP telephoto sensor as well. For selfies, it has a 32-MP front camera.
What's Inside The Xiaomi 15 Ultra
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra features a stunning 6.73-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 2K resolution, offering a peak brightness of 3,200 nits. It supports HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and is protected by Xiaomi's Ceramic Glass 2.0. Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, running on HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. A 5,410mAh battery keeps it going, with support for 90W wired and 80W wireless charging. It also boasts an IP68 rating and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos.
For photography, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra packs an impressive quad-camera setup, featuring a 200MP Leica periscope lens, a 50MP Leica primary sensor, a 50MP Leica telephoto lens with OIS, and a 50MP Leica ultra-wide lens. On the front, there's a 32MP selfie camera for sharp and detailed self-portraits.
How Much Do The Devices Cost?
The base variant Xiaomi 15 will cost you Rs 64,999, while the premium Ultra variant will cost you Rs 1,09,999. On top of that, there is a Xiaomi 15 Ultra Photography Kit Legend Edition which is priced at RS 11,999.
There is also good news for anyone pre-booking the smartphones that will start on March 19 at 5 PM. With the Xiaomi 15 base variant Xiaomi Care Plan worth Rs 5,999 is free on pre-booking, and those who go for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, get the Photography Kit Legend Edition for free. 10,000 cashback is available for ICICI Bank customers on the Ultra variant and 5,000 on the base version.
