Xiaomi which is all set to introduce its next-generation Xiaomi Pad 6 tomorrow has now slashed the price of the Xiaomi Pad 5 price in India in order to help buyers choose the right device for them. The upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 is already launched in China and will come powered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 chipset, a 13 MP primary shooter, and Dolby Vision support.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Price Slashed
Xiaomi Pad 5 was introduced at a price of Rs 26,999 for the 6GB RAM variant while the 8 GB variant cost Rs 28,999. But now the company has reduced the price and the 6 GB variant costs Rs 25,999 and the 8 GB RAM variant will now cost Rs 28,499. The tablet is available on Amazon, Mi.com, and Mi stores across India.
Xiaomi Pad 5 Specifications
The Xiaomi Pad 5 is offered with a 10.95-inch 10-bit TrueColour display with a refresh rate panel of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 650 Nits. The tablet gets a WQHD+ LCD display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. Under the hood, the Xiaomi Pad 5 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 860 processor and also gets an Adreno 640 GPU. The tablet gets 6 GB and 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256 GB storage. The tablet is backed by an 8,720mAh battery with a fast charging support of 33W. The tablet runs on Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 Pad skin out of the box.
Speaking of the optics, the tablet gets a 13 MP primary shooter. For selfies and video calls, the tablet gets an 8 MP front camera.
In terms of connectivity, the tablet gets Bluetooth 5.0, Dual Wifi 2.4/5GHz bands, and USB Type-C OTG support.
It would be interesting to see what features, specifications would Xiaomi Pad 6 would offer. It is adivsed that you should wait for Xiaomi Pad 6 before making any decision to buy Xiaomi Pad 5.
