YouTube, a popular video streaming platform owned by Google, has initiated testing for Q&A stickers on its Shorts platform for mobile users. The stickers will provide creators with the opportunity to engage their communities by asking their viewers questions. Through comments, viewers can respond, and others will be able to see their remarks.

Only a tiny number of creators are currently receiving this feature. The stickers can't be interacted with by PC or TV viewers.

In a related development, YouTube is testing out automatic recognition of important ideas addressed in instructional videos. On the video's watch page, these ideas will be emphasised in real-time with graphics and succinct text passages.

'Key Concepts' will be a feature that creators can choose not to use. Only a small portion of mobile users can access this experiment, which is now restricted to educational videos in the English language.

The company has previously stated that the platform will remove any content that discourages users from seeking cancer treatment or that promotes cancer therapies that have been proven to be harmful or ineffective. Additionally, the company has stated that it will categorise the current medical misinformation guidelines into three categories: prevention, treatment, and denial.

The Google-owned video player also stated that it will remove any information that contradicts advice given by medical professionals regarding the efficacy and safety of approved vaccines, as well as the prevention and spread of specific diseases.
