YouTube Shorts Video: The Google-owned video giant has announced that the creators will be able to upload big 3-minute Shorts on the platform starting October 15, in order to take on TikTok in the global markets. Not only that, the company has also announced a series of new changes including the Shorts interface (making the name and description smaller).

The company also announced that there will not be any changes to the videos uploaded before the above-mentioned date. Interestingly, Google calls it the ‘top requested feature by creators’ as Shorts has been gaining a lot of traction ever since it was released.

For the creators, YouTube has also added templates which allow creators and other users to quickly jump on trends. The platform has also added Remix on the Short that inspires you and select “Use this template” to give your own spin.”
