BJP Slams Congress Government Over Name Change

The BJP has criticised the Telangana government's renaming of major hubs. Union Minister and BJP leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar Reddy slammed the Congress government in the state, highlighting the fact that the state should be renamed ‘Bhagyanagar’ again.

The BJP leader posted on his official X (formerly Twitter) account, 'If the Congress government is so desperate to change the name, they should start something that actually has history and meaning.'

He further said that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is renaming places after whatever is trending. He added, "The only party that is truly coming forward, questioning the government, and raising real issues of the people through mahadharnas is the BJP."
