In a chilling incident, a man stabbed his 14-day-old daughter to death and dumped her body in the garbage in Hyderabad under the Golconda police station limits, the NDTV reported. The accused has been identified as Jagath, who works as a security guard and originally belongs to Nepal.

He killed her infant daughter and threw the body near Tolichowki. Jagath's wife filed a complaint with the police, after which he was taken into custody. At around 2 am on Thursday, Jagath's wife and her two daughters were asleep when Jagath took the infant child away. He took her to an isolated spot and slit her throat.

He then dumped her body near a garbage heap and returned home. At around 5 am, Jagath's wife woke up and found that the younger girl was missing. When she confronted Jagath, he confessed of killing the girl. The police have detained him and further investigation was underway.

As per the police officials, "Yesterday, in the early morning hours around 2 am, a man named Jagath, a Nepalese national who had been residing and working as a watchman in an apartment for one year, killed his 14-day-old baby girl."

Providing additional details, the Inspector of the Golkonda police station said that he took the body outside the apartment and stabbed her in the neck before throwing it into the garbage. He was being questioned but had not revealed the reason behind the gruesome act.

"He took the body outside the apartment, stabbed her in the neck, and threw the baby's body near a garbage dump in Tolichowki. His wife filed a complaint, and we have taken the accused into custody. The accused has not revealed the motives behind the crime. Further investigation is ongoing," he said.
