Hyderabad News: A sixth-grade student choked to death during his lunch break at a school in Secunderabad on Monday. The victim, identified as Viren Jain, was a student at Akshara Vaagdevi International School.
According to police reports, Viren had packed puris in his lunch box. During the break, he attempted to eat three puris at once, which led to choking. Immediate action was taken and he was rushed to a private hospital in West Marredpally. However, the hospital later referred him to Apollo Hospital in Secunderabad, where he was declared dead.

His father, Gowtham Jain, received a call from the school informing him of the incident. The school explained that Viren choked while trying to eat more than two puris at a time, which caused him to be unable to breathe. A complaint has been filed by the family as they seek further clarification on the circumstances surrounding this heartbreaking event.
In a separate news, a newborn was abducted from a hospital in Nampally, triggering a immediate police investigation that led to the arrest of three suspects, including two women and one man in Hyderabad. According to the police, the accused, desperate for a male child, had meticulously planned the abduction in advance.

Haseena Begum, the baby's mother, gave birth to her son, Sauqlain, on October 25. While the infant was receiving treatment for jaundice at Niloufer Children's Hospital, a woman in a black burkha kidnapped him.
Acting promptly, the police formed five teams to track down the culprits. After analysing CCTV footage, they intercepted the suspects' vehicle at Pullur Toll Plaza. The arrested individuals, identified as Shaheen Begum, Abdulla (alias Venkatesh), and Reshma (alias Renuka), have been placed in judicial custody. Investigations into the case are ongoing.
