Telangana Weather Update: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Wednesday stated that multiple districts of Telangana are likely to receive light to heavy rainfall in the upcoming few days. The weather department has also issued yellow alert for several districts, adding that the rains will be accompanied with gusty winds and thunderstorms, leading to a dip in the temperature. The weather department assured that the weather change will provide a major relief to the residents from the scorching heat. However, the northern districts of the state will continue to witness a surge in temperature during the same period of time.
While providing details, the weather department stated that several districts, including Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and Jogulamba Gadwal are likely to receive rainfall on May 1. It stated that the rains will be accompanied with gusty winds and thunderstorms.
The weather department further stated that multiple districts are also likely to receive rainfall on May 2. It stated that yellow alert has been issued for districts, including Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanmakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri and Nagarkurnool.
Apart from this, the weather department also stated that several districts are also likely to receive rainfall on May 3, adding that the districts such as Medchal Malkajgiri Nagar Kurnool, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Adilabad, Komarambhim Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Karimnagar, Peddapalli, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, and Nalgonda will receive fresh spell of rains on Saturday.

The weather department further stated that multiple districts are also likely to receive rainfall on May 4, adding that the weather change will provide relief from the scorching heat. It further advised the residents of these districts to follow the guidelines and limit their outings to avoid any inconvenience.
