TS Indiramma Housing Scheme 2025: The Telangana government has unveiled the Indiramma Housing Scheme 2025 to tackle homelessness in the state. This ambitious initiative aims to provide permanent housing solutions for underprivileged citizens. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy officially initiated the construction of Indiramma houses on Friday in Appakapalle village, located in Narayanpet mandal.

The launch marks the first phase of the Indiramma Illu housing programme, which plans to construct an initial 75,045 houses. This is part of a broader strategy to build a total of 450,000 homes across the state within the year, ensuring affordable housing for those in dire need. Beneficiaries who have already been selected and received their allotment letters are required to begin construction by March 10.

With an investment of Rs 22,000 crore, the government aims to reshape the housing landscape by providing financial assistance and free land to eligible residents. This scheme is especially crucial for landless individuals, as well as activists and fighters from the Telangana movement who have struggled with homelessness despite their contributions to the state. Additionally, this scheme prioritises individuals living in rented accommodations or without any permanent home.

Key Features Of The Indiramma Housing Scheme:

Housing Construction: Plans to build 450,000 houses, each with a minimum area of 400 square feet, including an RCC roof, kitchen and toilet.

Financial Support: General applicants will receive Rs 5 lakh, while those from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) will receive Rs 6 lakh.

Free Land Allotment: Individuals without any property will be granted free land.

Telangana Indiramma Scheme Eligibility Criteria:

To qualify for the scheme, applicants must:

- Be permanent residents of Telangana.

- Belong to lower or middle-income categories.

- Not own a permanent house.

- Not be enrolled in any other housing project within the state.

The application procedure is straightforward. Interested individuals can fill out the official form available on the government’s website.

Online Application Process:

- Visit the official website of the Telangana government or Praja Palana portal.

- Download the application form.

- Fill in the required details and upload necessary documents.

- Submit the form online for processing.

Offline Application

Visit the nearest Municipal Corporation, Gram Sabha, or Gram Panchayat office and fill the form.
