A video is going viral on the internet where a man can be seen celebrating his release from jail with an impromptu dance. The video garnered millions of likes and shares as the man's joy and energy left the internet thoroughly impressed.

The video features the man performing a freestyle dance, followed by an impressive transition into breakdancing. The man, identified as Shiva, had spent nearly a year in Kannauj Jail, Uttar Pradesh. His impressive dance talents not only surprised viewers online but also amused the jail and police officers present on the spot.

The video was shared on the social media platform 'X' (formerly Twitter) by KP Pathak, a senior Samajwadi Party (SP) worker, who referred to Shiva as a "strange creature from Kannauj". Pathak wrote, “Imagine the joy of being released from jail. The gentleman was in jail for 9 months. Today, he has come out of jail. He is dancing with joy. This is a strange creature from Kannauj in UP.”

One user playfully called him a “superstar in dancing,” while others expressed curiosity, asking, “Who is this brother? Where has he come from?”

Shiva, who is a resident of Chhibramau in the Kannauj district, had been sentenced to one year in prison and fined Rs 1,000 for an assault charge. With no family to assist him, no one applied for his bail. However, an NGO stepped in, providing free legal assistance that led to his release after serving nine months of his sentence. While behind bars, Shiva used his days constructively by learning to read and write. In a statement following his release, he vowed that he would never commit any crimes again and would begin a new life.
