About Brooklyn Nine Nine

The fictional 99th precinct of the NYPD serves as the setting for the police comedy series Brooklyn Nine-Nine. In the 2010s and earlier, the 99's detectives, led by the humorously serious Captain Raymond Holt and the main character Jake Peralta, deal with drug deals, burglaries and oddities in New York City. The show flourished for eight seasons due to its ensemble cast, fresh storyline and the dynamics created by each detective's distinct personality.
