'Joker 2' or 'Joker: Folie À Deux' has become one of the most awaited movies of 2024 and its trailer has created a storm on the internet. The second instalment of the blockbuster movie 'Joker' will be a musical and will introduce pop sensation Lady Gaga as Harley Quinn. In an interview with Empire, Joaquin Phoenix revealed how Lady Gaga reacted after hearing him sing for the first time.

Joaquin Phoenix also revealed that he was nervous because he was not used to singing. He told Empire, "I do seem to remember her spitting up coffee the first time I sang, so that felt good, that was exciting and made me feel confident." He added Lady Gaga told him, "Go with what you feel, it’s fine."

Talking about playing Harley Quinn, Lady Gaga said, "People know me by my stage name, Lady Gaga, right? That’s me as that performer, but that is not what this movie is; I’m playing a character. So I worked a lot on the way that I sang to come from Lee, and to not come from me as a performer."

Catherine Keener, Brendan Gleeson, and Zazie Beetz will be seen in the pivotal roles.

The first instalment of Joker was released in 2019 and also won the Best Original Score award at the Oscars. Meanwhile, Joaquin Phoenix won the Academy Award for Best Actor. 'Joker' is based on a DC Comics character and is set in 1981 in the fictional city of Gotham. The movie revolves around Arthur Fleck, who is a failed clown and aspiring comedian. His descent into insanity inspires a violent countercultural revolution against the wealthy in a decaying Gotham City.
