On Sunday, Katy Perry and Justin Trudeau were spotted showing getting close on Perry's yacht off the coast of Santa Barbara in California, as per The Mail. The 40 year old singer and former Canadian Prime Minister may be seen kissing and cuddling on the upper deck of the 24-meter Caravelle in the photos. As they walked past the yacht on their outing, tourists on a neighbouring whale-watching boat took the pictures. Justin Trudeau appears to be nuzzling Katy Perry's cheek in one picture, while the two appear to be in an embrace in another. Another picture shows the former political figure holding the singer's butt. 

"Katy Perry pulled up her boat next to a small public whale-watching boat, then they started making out," a witness of the event told The Daily Mail. "I didn’t realize who she was with until I saw the tattoo on the guy’s arm and I immediately realized it was Justin Trudeau," they continued.

Katy Perry And Justin Trudeau Relationship

Justin Trudeau was then spotted at Katy Perry's sold-out Lifetimes tour in Canada. Nonetheless, there were rumours that by August, their purported romance had soured. A source told The Daily Mail - "She's busy, he's busy. They have a lot going on, and the newness has worn off. But there’s nothing negative about it. They just aren’t in constant communication anymore. That could change, but for now, it is what it is. It has cooled off."

The source did, however, also reveal that the two had been texting 'nonstop' during July. Then, in September, a source told US Weekly that although Katy and Justin were attempting to keep things 'private,' they were 'still speaking and are very interested in each other'."

Justin Trudeau ended his marriage to Sophie Grégoire, and Katy broke up with actor Orland Bloom.The political leader resigned early in 2025 after ten years as Canadian Prime Minister. Following eighteen years of marriage, he and his wife Sophie parted ways in August 2023. They have a 16-year-old daughter and two sons, ages 18 and 11. Justin and Katy were first seen together in Montreal this July for a private meal and that's when the rumours about the former PM and artist began to circulate. The pair was then seen taking a leisurely stroll in Mount Royal Park.
