A popular hiking influencer from California, Hannah Moody, was discovered dead near a 600-year-old from Arizona hiking trail. The influencer was missing for a long time after she embarked on a hiking journey. Scottsdale Police Department shared that she was last seen in the Gateway Trailhead area on May 21, 2025. After days of searching, her body was found near the hiking trail. Her social media followers were seen mourning her death. In this article, we will talk about the late influencer’s life.

Who Is Hannah Moody?

The social media influencer was 31 years old at the time of his demise. According to a Los Angeles Times report, Moody used to live in California. Hannah had 45k followers on Instagram. She gained a massive fan following on social media by documenting her treks through the Arizona desert terrain. The star influencer is also seen recording motivational videos to inspire her followers to have a positive outlook on life. She made her last post on Instagram on May 19, where she shared her happiness of hiking during the sunset. In the video, Hannah expressed her gratitude for last-minute schedule change at her restaurant job. In the video, Moody said, “God is literally blessing me with the day shift because he knows how much I freaking love the sunset and I love being able to go for sunset hikes. I haven’t really been able to do that and it’s just so sweet and so thoughtful.”

She captioned the video, “HIKES W/ HAN | part 1. There can always be something positive in every situation, if you just look for it. what are you focusing on? God uses all things for good 🫶🏼 Romans 8:28.” Netizens commented on the post. A user wrote, “She shared her salvation journey then left this Earth. She was destined to be a helpful messenger of The Lord RIP to such a beautiful soul.” Another said, “How absolutely heart wrenching. I just spent an hour or so, watching your videos and listening to your story/testimony. What a truly beautiful soul. You spoke right to me, at the perfect time. RIP sweet angel.” A comment read, “Rest in peace Hannah. we love you so much & we know you are with the Lord now. Thank you for being such a light in my life. I love you sister.”

Scottsdale police is currently investigating the matter behind her death. In the initial statement of the police, the cause of her death was not revealed.
