‘Bridgerton’ star Nicola Coughlan expressed that she felt empowered by her Season 3 sex scenes with co-star Luke Newton. In an interview with Stylist magazine released on Tuesday, the actress revealed that she intentionally pushed for more nudity in her scenes with Newton to challenge body shamers. Coughlan shared that she personally requested certain lines and moments to be included in the show. “There’s one scene where I’m very naked on camera, and that was my idea, my choice,” she recalled. This decision was part of her effort to assert control over her body image and to confront societal standards regarding body positivity and nudity on screen.
