Former US President Donald Trump has said on Friday that he may have a second debate with Kamala Harris if he got in the right mood. However, he also added that he cannot say anything in that matter for now.
"I did great with the debates, and I think they've answered everything. But maybe if I got in the right mood, I don't know. Right now, I'm leading," he said.
Responding to media on being asked what he would be needing in order to have a second debate with Kama Harris, he referred his previous debates with US President Joe Biden and said, "I wouldn't need anything. I could do it tomorrow, but I've done two debates."
This came a day after former US President Donald Trump mentioned that he won't be participating in another debate with Vice President Kamala Harris, effectively eliminating the chance for a second meeting between the two US presidential candidates before Election Day.
He also mentioned that while he won the Tuesday debate with Kamala Harris, some polls are showing otherwise.
"When a prizefighter loses a fight, the first words out of his mouth are, 'I WANT A REMATCH'. Polls clearly show that I won the debate against Comrade Kamala Harris, the Democrats' Radical Left Candidate, on Tuesday night, and she immediately called for a Second Debate," Trump posted on Truth Social.
The former president stated that topics such as immigration and inflation were addressed "thoroughly" both during his discussion with Harris on Tuesday night and in his debate with President Biden in June.
Donald Trump also took a swipe at the Biden-Harris administration and stated that they have 'destroyed' the country.
"She and Crooked Joe have destroyed our country, with millions of criminals and mentally deranged people pouring into the USA, totally unchecked and unvetted, and with inflation bankrupting our middle class," he said.
"Everyone knows this and all of the other problems caused by Kamala and Joe. It was discussed in great detail during the first debate with Joe, and the second debate with Comrade Harris," the former US President said.
