The holiday season in the United States is set to begin with one of the country’s most beloved traditions, the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, now gearing up for its 99th edition. Millions of viewers across the world are expected to tune in as New York City’s streets transform into a festive corridor lined with giant balloons, dazzling floats, marching bands, and celebrity performances.

When And Where To Watch

The parade will begin on Thursday, November 27, at 8:30 AM ET, with a live telecast on NBC across all time zones. Viewers can also stream the three-and-a-half-hour broadcast on Peacock and Fubo, with NBC airing an encore telecast at 2 PM ET/PT. A Spanish-language simulcast will air on Telemundo, hosted by Andrea Meza, Aleyda Ortiz, and Clovis Nienow.

This year, Peacock will offer a Multiview experience, with three angles, the traditional broadcast, the Tom Turkey Float View, and a High-Rise View for an aerial perspective. Live audio description will also be available for visually impaired viewers on the SAP channel.

Route And Duration

The parade starts at Manhattan’s Upper West Side and concludes at Macy’s Herald Square. It will run for 3.5 hours, ending at noon ET.

Macy’s executive producer Will Coss said the parade remains a cherished American tradition, adding that the 2025 edition will deliver “unforgettable moments and lasting holiday memories.”
