NFL Most Valuable Player: The NFL Honors honour the accomplishments of players, coaches and teams from each season and one of the most expected points of the night was the display of the distinguished NFL MVP award for the most valuable player of the season.
The distribution of this prestigious award started in 1957, and Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allen is the current holder of this award as he was crowned the league's best player at the 2025 NFL Honors.
The National Football League (NFL) MVP Award has been given annually since 1957. The award celebrates the player who delivered their absolute best, leaving the greatest impact on the regular season and emphasises his talent and performance on the field.
Meanwhile, since 2012, the National Football League has held the annual NFL Honors tradition to honour and acknowledge each year's champion.
Over the years, prominent players have been honoured with this award, from Jim Brown, who bagged the MVP in 1957 and 1965, to Joe Montana, who claimed it in 1989 and 1990, with stars like Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Patrick Mahomes and Lamar Jackson as its latest champions.
