Paige's impact in WWE
It is to be noted that Paige, whose real name is Saraya-Jade Bevis, made a significant impact during her career and is often credited with helping usher in the WWE women’s wrestling revolution. She debuted on WWE's main roster the night after WrestleMania 30 in 2014 and won the Divas Championship from AJ Lee in her debut match, making her the youngest Divas Champion at age 21.
During his short but impactful stint, Paige played a key role in the transition from the "Divas Era" to the "Women's Evolution" in WWE. Her career was unfortunately cut short due to a neck injury, and she officially retired from in-ring competition in 2018. However, she continued to associate with the company for a while as a manager and on-screen figure.
In 2022, she left WWE and joined AEW (All Elite Wrestling) under her real name, Saraya, where she returned to in-ring action.
While mentioning the possibility of her return to the WWE, Paige said that she doesn’t know if there’s a spot for her in the company right now.
