Apple iPhone 15 series has been in the news for a while now. While we have heard a lot of cheerful details about the product already, the latest one might be a setback for a large number of users. According to a report by 9To5Mac, the tech giant may cut down the supply and trim the number of manufacturing units.
Reliable Analyst Jeff Pu recently downgraded its iPhone 15 production predictions from 83 to 77 million units. As per Pu, the reasons are likely to be supply restrictions in production and "demand concerns" that anticipate a six million decline.

Adding updates to the claim, Mizuho, a global bank also reduced its prediction to 73 million (from the earlier 84 million). The annual forecast has been altered to 217 million from the previous 227 million.
The report further added that the company may also delay the shipments of the top-end iPhone 15 Pro Max to October. The deliveries of the iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus and iPhone 15 Pro Max may start from September 22.
Moving to other updates, the iPhone 15 Pro Max may have a periscope lens on the rear camera module for better zoom. This delay is also due to the supply problem with Sony. The Japanese giant is lagging in offering a consistent supply of the sensor, the report added.
On a related note, reports have tipped that the company might scrap the gold colour model in favour of a 'Titan Gray' shade and use titanium instead of stainless steel in the frame construction. The Deep Purple variant could be swapped with dark blue paint. Speaking of other updates, the iPhone 15 series is tipped to come with a Type-C port, 48MP primary lens and Dynamic Island on all models. You can read more on this here.
