Canva Down: Free-to-use graphic design tool Canva is now back after facing service disruptions in several parts of the world, including the United States and India. Taking to X, the company acknowledged the issue and shared that a fix had been applied. According to Downdetector (an outage monitoring website), over 950 outages were reported at 08:11 PM in the US, which was the peak of the red graph. In India, the reports were comparatively less (86 at peak).

Among the reported problems in the US, 59 per cent of the users faced issues with the website, 26 per cent reported problems with the app, and 15 per cent reported troubles with server connection. Users are facing issues while accessing designs, according to Canva.

"We're already working on a fix as we speak, and everything should be okay anytime soon. Please check https://canvastatus.com for updates. Sorry for the trouble!" @canva shared on X. On the help page, Canva says: "We're on it: Users may experience issues accessing Canva."

For the unversed, Canva has a reservoir of templates and does not require special expertise to get started. This is among the reasons for the popularity of the app. It has diverse photo and video editing tools alongside a library of stock media. The company recently introduced AI into the platform that helps users accomplish several tasks.

According to Canva, the "engineers have applied the fix", and the situation is being monitored.

The issue has been fixed, Canva declared on its status updates website. Downdetector's outage graph has also subsided in the US.
