Agra News: In a bizzare claim, a 24-year-old boy from Agra, Uttar Pradesh, said that after being buried alive by four men over a property dispute, he was saved by stray dogs as they dug him up. The victim, Roop Kishore or Happy, said on July 18 that he was attacked in the Artoni neighboruhood of Agra by four men: Ankit, Gaurav, Karan, and Akash.
The victim's FIR states that the four individuals beat and strangled him. The four men buried him on their property, assuming he died in the attack.
Roop Kishore survived even though he was buried. There, a group of stray dogs began to encroach on where he was buried. The dogs bit Roop Kishore's flesh, causing him to regain consciousness. He got up, made his way out, and was picked up by some locals who sent him to a hospital where he was treated.
According to Roop Kishore's mother, the four attackers took her son out of their house against their will. Roop's mother, Ramvati, who filed a case in the matter, said, “Four men from the neighbourhood -- Ankit, Gaurav, Karan and Akash -- came to the house and took my son with them on the evening of July 18. They took him towards the farm outside the village and thrashed him; then put a rope around his neck and choked him, and left him to die in a pit."

"Then, a miracle struck. A bunch of stray dogs, smelling blood, dug up the soil. My son was unconscious, and as soon as the dogs started pulling him, he 'woke' up. We later took him to hospital where he is recovering," she added.
She went on to say that during a fight between two groups in the area on July 18, Roop had complained about a man using "abusive language."
The four accused are now fleeing arrest, but the police say a comprehensive investigation is ongoing and that attempts are being made to apprehend them.
