The Swatantrata Sangram Senani Express, traveling from Delhi to Bihar, was stopped in Aligarh due to information about a bomb on the train. The RPF, GRP, Crime Investigation, Dog Squad, and Civil Police conducted a search. One person was detained from the specified general coach; however, nothing was found on him.
Train Stopped In Aligarh After Bomb Threat on Swatantrata Sangram Senani Express
Panic spread at Aligarh station after information was received about a passenger carrying a bomb in the general coach of the Swatantrata Sangram Senani Express, which was en route from Delhi to Bihar. A joint team of RPF (Railway Protection Force) and GRP (Government Railway Police) checked the train, deboarded the suspect, and searched his luggage. However, no suspicious items were found. The bag contained guavas, food items, and other belongings. Both teams are still jointly interrogating the suspect.
Team Conducts Investigation
According to RPF Assistant Commissioner Gulzar Singh, on November 15, at approximately 11:05 pm, information, including a photo, was received from Division Control Prayagraj. The alert stated that a person traveling in a general coach of the Delhi to Bihar Swatantrata Sangram Senani Express might be carrying a bomb-like object. The information also specified the coach the person was in.
One Person Detained During Checking
Upon receiving the alert, the RPF, GRP, Crime Investigation, Dog Squad, and Civil Police arrived at platform number three to check the train. Based on the information from the controller, the person matching the provided description, who was sitting on seat number 247503/C in the second general coach from the engine, was deboarded along with his luggage.

Food Items Found In Bag
During interrogation, the man identified himself as Sushil Saini, son of Rajkumar Saini, a resident of Bichkhana village, Arer police station, in the Madhubani district of Bihar. He stated that he works at shop number 62 in the Dabua fruit market in Faridabad and was traveling to his village to bring his parents back with him.

All items were removed from his bag one by one, but no suspicious items were found. The bag contained guavas, food, clothes, and other items. Authorities are currently checking his criminal history, and the interrogation is ongoing.
