Encouraged by the results of the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Service Examination 2024, the Social Welfare Department is now dedicated to ensuring the success of participants preparing for the UPPSC Mains examination.
280 candidates preparing at Mukhyamantri Abhyuday Coaching and other coaching centers are undergoing rigorous training for writing skills and interviews, with assistance from a reputed coaching institute. Regular tests are being conducted under the supervision of senior officers to evaluate their writing skills.
This year, 13 candidates who prepared at Mukhyamantri Abhyuday Coaching were selected in the UPSC Civil Service Examination. This result has enthused Social Welfare Minister Asim Arun and departmental officers, raising hopes for good results from the candidates preparing for the PCS Mains at these centres.
Minister Arun is personally reviewing the preparations of the 280 candidates. Social Welfare Director Kumar Prashant stated that senior IAS, IPS, PCS officers, and subject matter experts are guiding the candidates. Successful candidates from the preliminary exam are being trained for the main exam by honing their writing skills and conducting mock interviews.
Specialised test papers have been prepared with the help of experts, and bi-weekly test series are being used to evaluate their preparation. Each candidate receives guidance from subject matter experts based on their needs.
Special attention is being given to group study, 24-hour library access, and personal counseling by previously selected candidates from the coaching centers. There is hope that similar results will be achieved in the PCS exam as in the UPSC exam.
