CM Adityanath’s Office Launches WhatsApp Channel To Establish Direct Communication With UP Citizens

The office of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has started a WhatsApp channel in the name of Chief Minister Office, Uttar Pradesh, to communicate directly with the people of the state. This initiative of a Chief Minister connecting with citizens through a WhatsApp channel is the first of its kind in our country.

The WhatsApp channel will provide information of public interest related to the state government and also allow people to convey their views to the Chief Minister’s Office. Anyone can join this channel by clicking on the link shared on the official handle of the Chief Minister’s Office (@CMOfficeUP) on the microblogging site X (formerly Twitter).

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stated that communication is the soul of democracy and that he views 25 crore citizens of the state as ‘one family’ and is working with full commitment for their happiness and prosperity. He chose WhatsApp as a powerful and simple platform of communication for easy interaction with the people of the state.

“Uttar Pradesh Government led by CM Yogi Adityanath has started a WhatsApp channel named Chief Minister Office, Uttar Pradesh for the people of the state to get information directly from the Chief Minister's Office. Through this channel, any common man will be able to directly connect with the state government and become aware of public welfare schemes,” the CMO of Uttar Pradesh said announcing the launch of the WhatsApp channel.
