Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha: With just three days left for the 'Pran Pratishtha' ceremony of Ram Lalla at the grand Ram Mandir, preparations for the ceremony in Ayodhya are in full swing. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, on Friday, visited the city to ensure an immaculate event. 

The CM first offered prayer at the Hanuman Garhi temple and sought the blessings of Lord Hanuman for the prosperity of Uttar Pradesh and then visited the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, where he participated in the aarti and inspected all arrangements for the much-awaited consecration ceremony. 

ANI shared a video showing the BJP stalwart arriving at the Ram Mandir in a vintage red car and engaging in rituals while the crowd chanted the 'Jai Shree Ram' slogans.

He also interacted with saints and priests to take account of the ongoing rituals. The Friday visit marked the CM's third visit to Ayodhya within 11 days. People associated with the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust provided him with all necessary updates regarding the preparations.

Surya Pratap Shahi, Cabinet and in-charge Minister, Jaiveer Singh, Culture Minister, Girish Pati Tripathi, Mayor, Lallu Singh, MP, Ved Prakash Gupta, MLA and Ramnchndra Yadav were also present during the occasion.

Meanwhile, As part of his special religious practice for 11 days in the run-up to the 'Pran Pratishtha' at the Ram temple, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been sleeping over a blanket on the floor and drinking only coconut water, a report by IANS stated.

PM Modi has also been doing "gau-pooja", feeding cows and is engaged in various forms of 'daan' (charity) like 'annadaan' and giving away clothes in accordance with the scriptures. As a devout "Ram Bhakt", PM Modi has been visiting temples in different parts of the country in the last few days, including Ramkund and Shree Kalaram Temple in Nasik, Veerbhadra Temple in Lepakshi in Andhra Pradesh and Guruvayur Temple and Thriprayar Shree Ramaswami Temple in Kerala.

Similarly, he will visit more such temples in Tamil Nadu over the next two days. These temples not only act as a unifying force for different parts of the country but also have a connection with Lord Ram.

PM Modi also launched the initiative to clean up temples earlier this week and cleaned the premises of Shree Kalaram Temple in Nasik to lead by example to spark a mass movement.
