Precaution To Be Taken Amid Low Visibility
-Visibility is low in fog, so drive slowly.
-Keep the headlights on low beam to improve visibility.
-Use fog lights in the vehicle, drive carefully on turns and reduce speed.
-Maintain appropriate distance from other vehicles, so that you have enough time to stop in case of an emergency.
-Check the vehicle regularly to ensure that all safety equipment is working properly.
-Get reflectors installed at the back of your vehicle, so that drivers coming from behind can get information about your vehicle.
Due to non-compliance of rules on Delhi Meerut Expressway, accidents happen every other day. To prevent this, orders have been issued in the meeting of the Road Safety Committee. A stand has been made on the Delhi Meerut Expressway in an illegal manner, where taxis, cars, buses are stopped and passengers are made to board and alight from the vehicles. According to the rules, doing so is prohibited on the Delhi Meerut Expressway.
