The Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) proposed to develop an industrial corridor near Guldiya village, the meeting point of Jalalabad Road and Ganga Expressway Budaun district. The project is part of the larger development of Ganga Express and airstrip in the area which is aimed to enhance the transportation of the area.
The land acquisition process for the industrial corridor has been started and is expected to be completed by March. About 101 hectares of land from 217 Gata of Guldiya village will be acquired by the authority. According to the proposed plan, over a thousand farmers will receive compensation four times the circle rate for their land.
The district administration is supporting the construction work of the Ganga Expressway, which is in progress. District Special Land Acquisition Officer (SLAO) and DM Umesh Pratap Singh also issued public notices to farmers for land acquisition.

Sanjay Pandey, Additional District Magistrate Administration, said that the administration is providing all possible help to the executing organisation to help complete the project which is aimed to enhance the connectivity in the region.

The Uttar Pradesh government also announced to pay compensation and provide land to 664 farmers in exchange for lands acquired by them for the construction of the Shamli-Ambala Greenfield Expressway.
