The Ghaziabad council schools are set to receive 31 additional classrooms, one reconstructed upper primary school, and five accessible toilets, following approval from the government. The proposal for the construction was submitted by the Basic Education Department to address the schools’ growing needs.

In a recent meeting on school construction and holistic education development, the DC Construction presented a progress report.

Under Operation Kayakalp, two council schools, Abhyudaya Composite School, Makanpur and Pragati Vihar, were built in collaboration with the Khoda Municipality at a total cost of Rs 16 crore, while Abhyudaya Composite Schools, Madhuban Bapudham and Noornagar Sihani Nagar Kshetra, were constructed with the Municipal Corporation at a total cost of Rs 3 crore.

Classes are currently being conducted in all four schools. Additional projects include the Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Composite Vidyalaya, Prem Vihar, at Rs 1.13 crore, and the Mukhyamantri Adarsh Composite Vidyalaya, under construction at Rs 24.27 crore.

Land for the Mukhyamantri Adarsh Composite Vidyalaya, Chittor, has been identified, and a proposal has been sent to the State Project OfficeBSA OP Yadav stated that all school construction works are progressing according to approved plans, ensuring better infrastructure for students across the district.
