A shocking incident occurred late Monday night in the Sanjaypuri Colony of Modinagar. During a heated argument over cooking egg curry at home, a woman allegedly bit off her husband's tongue in a fit of rage.
The incident reportedly took place around 2:00 am. The injured husband, identified as Vipin, was rushed to a hospital in Meerut in critical condition, where he is currently undergoing treatment. According to doctors, the front portion of his tongue was completely severed, leaving him in a serious condition.

Upon receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene and took the wife into custody. Preliminary investigations suggest that both husband and wife were under the influence of alcohol at the time of the incident, which caused a minor disagreement to turn violent. The police stated that further legal action will be taken based on the statement provided by the injured husband.
