Ghaziabad News: A 78-year-old man was thrashed by a woman after he objected to the lady for feeding a stray dog. The incident took place at Panchsheel Society in Ghaziabad’s Crossing Republic on Tuesday. 

A video of the incident went viral on social media where a woman can be seen beating a 78-year-old man several times with a stick. Taking cognizance of the matter, the police arrested the woman, according to Jagran.com.

According to police, the lady was identified as Simran while the elderly man was Rupnarayan Mehra. ACP Wave City Saloni Aggarwal said the incident occurred when Mehra objected woman asking her to feed stray dogs somewhere else.

On the basis of a complaint filed by the elderly man, the case has been registered in the matter, the ACP said.
