Ghaziabad’s Hindon Airport To Suspend Morning Flights For Air Force Day; Check Date, Time

Hindon Air Force Station, Ghaziabad, has issued a Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) ahead of Air Force Day celebrations, announcing the cancellation of all flights at Hindon Airport from 8:30 am to 11:30 am between October 6 and 8.

The parade rehearsal will take place on October 8, followed by the main Air Force Day events on October 8. This year marks the first Air Force Day event at Hindon in three years.

Dr Mahesh, Director of Hindon Civil Airport, stated that the NOTAM will be in effect for a few hours each morning over the three days. All airline operators have been notified to take necessary action and have informed passengers about the flight cancellations.

Most of the affected flights are operated by Indigo and Air India Express. Indigo’s flights from Hindon to Bengaluru, Varanasi, and Patna will be cancelled, while Air India Express will suspend all flights from Hindon to Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Varanasi, Chennai, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Patna during this period.
