The Uttar Pradesh Sarus Conservation Committee has taken a significant step towards wildlife conservation. The state's PCCF Wildlife has provided the Gorakhpur Forest Division with a state-of-the-art mobile veterinary unit-rescue van, which is fully equipped for the swift rescue and first aid of injured birds, particularly sarus cranes, peacocks, and other birds.

With this facility, injured birds in Gorakhpur and the surrounding areas will now be able to receive prompt assistance. Any citizen who sees an injured bird anywhere can immediately contact the Forest Department's command centre on mobile number 07839435312.
