Gorakhpur Junction: Train Cancellations And Short-Terminations Extended Due To Washing Pit Renovation | Details

The railway administration has extended the train block at Gorakhpur Junction owing to the ongoing renovation of the old washing pit. As a result, the duration of previously cancelled and short-terminated trains has also been extended.

According to Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh, four special trains, including the Gorakhpur-Delhi special, will remain cancelled until specified dates, while fourteen other trains will continue to run on short-terminated or short-originated routes. Engineering work is currently underway at washing pits number one and two.

Short-Termination/Short-Origination Trains:

-01027 Dadar-Gorakhpur Special: Short-terminated at Mau Junction until February 26

-01028 Gorakhpur-Dadar Special: Runs from Mau Junction until February 28

-22921 Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur Express: Short-terminated at Balrampur until 22 February

-22922 Gorakhpur-Bandra Terminus Express: Runs from Balrampur until February 24

-15031 Gorakhpur-Lucknow Junction Express: Short-terminated at Gomtinagar until February 24
