Gorakhpur News: NER To Operate 21 Puja Special Trains Today; Over 3,000 Trips Planned | Check Schedule

To manage the heavy festive rush, North Eastern Railway (NER) will operate 21 Puja special trains on Friday from various stations including its headquarters in Gorakhpur. Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh stated that a record number of special trains are being deployed this festive season to facilitate passenger travel.

According to NER, 164 Puja special trains are being operated from different stations for 1,606 trips, connecting major metros and cities across the country. Additionally, 103 more Puja special trains are running for 1,397 trips, passing through NER jurisdiction. In total, 267 Puja special trains are scheduled for 3,003 trips, either originating from or passing through NER stations.

The railway administration confirmed that sufficient seats and berths are available in 20 Puja special trains currently in operation, urging passengers to book confirmed tickets and plan comfortable journeys.
