Gorakhpur Railway Alert: Trains Cancelled, Diverted Due to Pipraich Interlocking & Junction Work | Check Full List

An electronic interlocking system is also being installed at Pipraich station. Due to this, train operations will be affected on various dates. According to Chief Public Relations Officer Pankaj Kumar Singh, the Gorakhpur Cantt and Barhni passenger trains to Narkatiaganj will be cancelled on November 18. Seven trains will not stop at Pipraich station.

Trains Cancelled On November 18:

- 55048 or 55047 Gorakhpur Cantt-Narkatiaganj-Gorakhpur Cantt passenger train.

- 55040 or 55095 Barhni-Narkatiaganj-Gorakhpur Cantt passenger train.

Other Impacts:

Diversion: The 15212 Amritsar-Darbhanga Express, running on November 17, will be diverted via the Gorakhpur Cantt-Chhapra Gramin-Muzaffarpur route.

Regulation: The 75106 Gorakhpur-Thawe DEMU train will be regulated (delayed) for 30 minutes en route.

Stoppage Removed: Seven trains will not stop at Pipraich station during this period.

Work At Gorakhpur Junction

Construction work on washing pits number one and two is underway at Gorakhpur Junction. Due to this, the disruption period for several previously affected trains has been extended until February 2026.

05058 Delhi-Gorakhpur Special: Extended until February 13, 2026.

05053 Gorakhpur-Bandra Terminus Special: Extended until February 13, 2026.

05054 Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur Special: Extended until February 14, 2026.

Trains to be Short-Terminated or Originated:

01027 Dadar-Gorakhpur Special: Will be short-terminated at Mau Junction until February 14, 2026.

01028 Gorakhpur-Dadar Special: Will originate from Mau Junction until February 16, 2026.

22921 Bandra Terminus-Gorakhpur Express: Will be short-terminated at Balrampur until February 8, 2026.

22922 Gorakhpur-Bandra Terminus Express: Will originate from Balrampur until February 10, 2026.

15031 Gorakhpur-Lucknow Junction Express: Will be short-terminated at Gomtinagar until February 10, 2026.

15032 Lucknow Junction-Gorakhpur Express: Will originate from Gomtinagar until February 10, 2026.
