Hardoi Accident: Harpalpur-Posted Constable Killed After Motorcycle Collides With Tractor-Trolley

Constable Ajay Kumar, posted at the Harpalpur police station, was on his way to his village in Usrahar, Etawah, on his motorcycle after taking leave from the station on Thursday morning. Near Sherakhar Gautia village on the Bareilly highway, the constable overtook a tractor-trolley carrying hay.

While overtaking, he tried to avoid an oncoming truck, which caused his motorcycle to come under the wheels of the trolley. Constable Ajay Kumar was critically injured in the accident.

Station House Officer (SHO) Sudesh Kumar rushed the injured constable to Lohia Hospital. There, doctors pronounced Constable Ajay Kumar dead.

Constable Ajay Kumar was the son of Tilak Singh, a resident of Dhaku village, under the jurisdiction of the Usrahar police station in Etawah district. The SHO has informed both the Harpalpur police station and the constable's family about the incident.
