The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) has launched a new "Rann of Kutch" tour package for city residents, announced on Monday.

This seven-night, eight-day tour will take place from November 21 to 28. The package includes air travel, with arrangements for travellers to fly from Lucknow to Ahmedabad and return from Rajkot to Lucknow.

IRCTC will provide accommodation in three-star hotels and camps, all meals and local sightseeing.

The itinerary will cover the following destinations:

- Akshardham Temple

- Riverfront

- Statue of Unity

- Swami Narayan Mandir (Nilkanthdham)

- Rann Utsav

- Kala Dungar

- Gandhi Nu Gam

- Sarad Bag Palace

- Smritivan Earthquake Memorial

- Bala Hanuman Mandir

For two people sharing accommodation, the cost will be Rs 57,300 per person.

IRCTC's Chief Regional Manager, Ajit Kumar Sinha, stated that bookings for the package will be on a "first-come, first-served" basis. For bookings, residents can contact the IRCTC office at Paryatan Bhawan in Gomtinagar or visit the website irctctourism.com.
