The Shri Krishna Janmashtami Maha Mahotsav will be celebrated on August 16 at Shri Shri Radha Raman Bihari Mandir (ISKCON), Sushant Golf City, with a day-long schedule of devotional and cultural events.

Addressing a press conference at a private hotel, Anand Swaroop Agarwal, Chairman of the Temple Construction Committee, said celebrations will begin on Saturday with Mangala Aarti at 4:30 am, followed by Tulsi Aarti at 5:15 am, Guru Puja at 7:30 am, Shringar Aarti at 9:00 am, and continuous Kirtan from 9:30 am to 6:30 pm.

The Sandhya Aarti will take place at 7:00 pm, Mahabhishek from 10:00 pm to midnight, and Chhappan Bhog offering to Lord Krishna between 11:00 pm and 12:00 am, culminating with the Maha Aarti at midnight.

Special artisans from Vrindavan have prepared a zari, pearl, and ruby-studded attire for Shri Shri Radha Raman Bihari. From 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm, Lord Krishna will be anointed with milk, curd, ghee, honey, and water sourced from 1,008 pilgrimage sites.

Cultural programs will begin at 4:00 pm, featuring bhajans, dramas, and dances by students of St Joseph School Ansal, along with performances by ISKCON Girls Forum. Winners of the “Who Will Become Krishna Bhakt” quiz competition will be felicitated by the temple president.

Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, Jal Shakti Minister Swatantra Dev Singh, Energy Minister AK Sharma, and Tourism Minister Jaiveer Singh are among the dignitaries expected to attend the festivities.
